Who owns Beavers Bend Cabin Getaways?
BBCG is owned and operated by Howard and Nikki Jones. Howard is a retiring US Navy veteran and Nikki is a home-grown local who left McCurtain Co nearly 20 years ago to follow her sailor. Through the years they have not only pursued higher education in business management, marketing, real estate, and project management, but have owned and operated successful businesses at multiple duty stations that have benefited multiple communities, and was able to leave on-going legacies in the hands of new owners.
Now with the retirement from the military, Howard’s promise to his bride has always been to put down their forever roots in whatever location she would choose, since she faithful left the comfort of her hometown to follow him and his call to serve our country. And so, with this new chapter in their lives, they are proud to call McCurtain County “HOME” once more. BBCG is a service industries company and allows them to continue to follow their servant hearts and provide quality service and help in bringing joy into the lives of others.
If we reserve a cabin today, how much will be charged to our card?
Upon reservation of ADVANCED BOOKINGS more than 30 days out, 30% of your booking total is required. The amount will be credited to your total balance.
ADVANCED BOOKINGS: The balance will be processed30 days before your check-in arrival date, unless other arrangements are made with the office
RESERVATIONS WITHIN 30 DAYS:. The FULL amount will be processed upon time of online booking. If you need to make different arrangements, please call our office at 580-494-6116.
CONFIRMATION AND GUEST PORTAL: After making your reservation and the Deposit Guarantee is complete, please check you email for a confirmation email and an invitation to your Guest Portal. If you do not receive this within a few moments, please contact our office so that we can check your records and ensure that your email is correct in the system.
If I want to pay cash for my reservation is that an option?
We require a credit card for the deposit upon reservation, however if you would like to pay the remaining balance in cash upon arrival just let us know and we can make arrangements.

BBCG offers a 30 Day Cancelation Period on Advanced Bookings. Once a cabin is booked, the Guest has entered a Rental Agreement. BBCG allows cancelations with a refund of the deposit amount, less a $100 Cancelation fee, up to 31 days before check-in/arrival date.
If within the 30 Day Cancelation Period, no refunds will be processed; however, we do allow for reservation date changes, with a $25 fee, and reservation can be moved to any date within a 12-month period. Note: may be subject to rate changes based upon seasons.
Are the cabins pet friendly?
The following cabins are currently pet friendly with a paid pet fee of $30 per pet with a limit of 2 dogs up to 25 pounds:
Misty pine, Marina way, Cascade, Phoenix, Dry Creek Lodge, Mountain Fork, Lookout Lodge.
This list is frequently being updated as more owner begin to allow their cabins to be Pet Friendly. Therefore, this list may not be accurate at the time of your review. Please call our office for updates. In addition, we have cabins that are not listed as Pet Friendly, but the owners will often allow an acceptation depending on circumstances.
Briarpatch is pet friendly with payment of an additional $50 pet fee.

What time is check in/check out.
Most cabin check-in time is anytime after 3pm, however the larger cabins might incur an addition 1-2 hour grace depending on if the cabin was booked the night prior. Check out time for all cabins M-Sat at 11:00 am and 2pm on Sundays. So, if you are checking out on Sunday, enjoy your morning and don’t feel rushed to leave. Also, keep in mind that Sunday mornings heading south on the Hwy 259 can get congested and increase your travel time, but it usually clears out after lunch time.
Both check-ins and check-outs are strictly enforced to give our cleaning staff adequate time to get the cabin ready for the next guests.
We only allow Sunday check-ins on a case-by-case basis with approval from the Office Manager.
Do you allow Sunday check-ins?
We are proud to say that we do not require our employees to work on Sundays to allow for family and church time, and in addition we offer late Sunday check-out at 2pm. So, we the crowds are jamming the roads leading out of Hochatown, our guest can sit back and continue enjoying one more relaxing morning.
If you would like a Sunday check-in. We can often accommodate by coordinating with the office. The online booking system will not allow Sunday check-in reservations, but feel free to call our office to make arrangements.
Max occupancy is based on the number of sleeping arrangements a cabin offers. Example: King, Queen, and Full size beds each are rated to accommodate 2 person, and each twin size is rated for 1 person.

What is the driving distance?
From Dallas we are 197 miles away usually a 3-3 ½ hour trip
From Oklahoma City we are 255 miles away usually a 3 ½ -4 hour trip
From Tulsa we are 218 miles away, usually a 3 ½ hour trip
From Shreveport we are 155 miles away, usually a 3 hour trip
What is the physical address to our cabin?
All Reservations will be emailed a Guest Portal invitation. This not only shows the address of the cabin, but all pertinent information to your stay.
Where do I check in and get the key to the cabin?
You will receive an email invitation to your Guest Portal. This is your one-stop shop for all pertinent information regarding your stay, including a Count Down Clock!
What will I need to bring?
All of our cabins are fully furnished with towels, linens, and with starter soaps, laundry soap, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, a few individually wrapped coffee packs, and sugar and creamer packs. They also include fully equipped kitchens with all of the basic cookware; you will need to bring your own cooking accessories for any specialized cooking you will be doing. If your cabin has a charcoal grill you will need to bring your own charcoal. Lastly if you plan having an outdoor fire, you will need to bring some firewood.
Can I buy groceries locally?
Yes, there is a large grocery store in Broken Bow (Pruett’s) which is only 10-15 minutes from the cabins. The local convenience stores also have a few groceries and condiments.

Are there places to eat close by?
Yes, there are several restaurants in the immediate area, including Grateful Head Pizza, Abendigo’s, The Blue Rooster, Hochatown BBQ and Stevens Gap Restaurant. There are also more restaurants in Broken Bow including Pizza Hut, Papa Poblanos, and the Oaks Steak House.
What is there to do in the area?

Is ATV riding allowed around the cabins?
ATV riding is strictly prohibited in the cabins areas. However, just a few miles north on Hwy 259 there is a large parking area were you can trailer you ATV’s to and park, there are miles and miles of ATV trails from there.
Are fireworks permitted in the cabin areas?
Fireworks are not permitted in the cabin areas.
How far are the cabins from the Broken Bow Lake and Beavers Bend State Park?
All of our cabins are located within a five to ten minute drive of both the Broken Bow Lake and Beavers Bend State Park.
Do you allow smoking in the cabins?
We do not allow smoking in our cabins, if it is discovered that this policy is violated, we will charge a $100 fee to your credit card.
Will I need a fishing license?
All out of state guests will need an out-of-state fishing license. Fishing licenses can be purchased at any of the area convenience stores or Wal-Mart. You can also purchase your fishing license online at www.wildlifedepartment.com.
Are there any other fees added to the cabin rate?
Yes, all reservations include a damage waiver fee and a cleaning, based on the individual cabin. We prefer to disclosed all of our fees instead of hiding them as a Resort Fee or Services Fee.
